Hyderabad: In a world where having a rare breed of dog as a pet is a status symbol and giving it up once it’s old is common practice, prioritizing the welfare of the voiceless being is the need of the hour.
Petfolk, a social media platform that aims to connect pet lovers, has unveiled a “Pet Van” through which they aim to raise awareness about various pet issues.
The van will travel around the city and raise awareness about the importance of pet care, grooming and needs, with the main topic being – how to take care of pets at home.
Speaking on the occasion of the van report, Laxmikanth Puducherri, Founder of Petfolk, said: ‘As lockdown and working from home have come to an end, people are struggling to care for their pets. Most pets are left out and often ignored. »
Through this van, he said, the goal is to reach various localities, gated communities and societies to educate people on how to take care of their pets.
The van was reported on Friday by Srinivas Rao Mahankali, CEO of T-Hub.
