The University College of Estate Management (UCEM) is a long-standing and leading provider of online assisted education. The Academic Quality Unit is a small team with big ambitions. Our mission is to foster excellence through a high quality, knowledgeable and professional support service that maintains standards and underpins a consistently exceptional student experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team and help develop and manage quality assurance and improvement processes at UCEM.
Your main responsibilities will revolve around:
- Manage quality assurance events for our programs, including validation and approval events, and periodic review and revalidation;
- Seek program accreditation and re-accreditation from PSRBs;
- Help maintain our higher education academic infrastructure;
- Write policies and regulations and write reports, as well as take minutes;
- Support module and program modification processes;
- Manage the student complaints and appeals process.
You will interact with a large number of internal and external stakeholders, so communication and relationship building skills are a must. Strong planning and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to stay focused on deadlines and pay attention to detail. Experience in a similar role is essential and you must have the confidence to take full ownership of your areas of responsibility.
