In early June 2022, the government of the Netherlands announced that it would reduce the size of cattle herds in the country by 30% to comply with European Union rules on nitrogen and ammonia pollution. .1,2 Due to this “green” policy, many farmers will be driven out of their businesses3 and they gathered to protest across the country.
This is important because many may not realize that although the Netherlands is a small country, it is the second largest exporter of agricultural products in the world, after the United States.4 As with current energy shortages, forced cuts in agriculture and food production would be an “inevitable” part of the Green Agenda to improve air, soil and water quality.5
In a public statement on the new emissions targets, the Dutch government even admitted that “the honest message…is that not all farmers can continue their activity”.6 Those who continue will need to find creative solutions to meet the new emissions restrictions.
A clear case of corruption?
Nitrogen restrictions for breeders have baffled many. Why would the government restrict agriculture at a time when food shortages and famine loom around the world? Some claim to have uncovered conflicts of interest within the Dutch government that may help explain this irrational decision.seven
Christianne van der Wal-Zeggelink, the new minister for nature and nitrogen policy (which created the nitrogen regulations and is responsible for overseeing cuts in agriculture), is married to Piet van der Wal, who together with his brother, Bouke van der Wal, owns a huge chain of supermarkets called Boni.
As noted by The Conservative Treehouse,8 “When Dutch farmers sell produce in Boni, they are directly funding the wealth of the government minister who seeks to destroy their livelihoods.”
The van der Wal family is also heavily invested in a major online grocery retailer called Picnic. Picnic buys food at wholesale prices directly from Boni, which minimizes its operational costs. Picnic essentially functions as a home delivery service for Boni.
In September 2021, Bill Gates joined the Dutch company. He invested around half a billion dollars in Picnic, becoming one of its top investors.9 Unsurprisingly, Picnic is focused on selling the fake “food” Gates invests in and promotes, particularly imitation beef.
Picnic CEO Michiel Muller, a Dutch climate change activist, has also publicly pledged to “change the whole food system” to be in line with sustainable goals, ten which fits perfectly with Gates’ agenda.
The strong recommendation to replace beef with fake meat was made in Gates’ book “How to Avoid Climate Catastrophe: The Solutions We Have and the Breakthroughs We Need”, published in February 2021.11 In an interview with MIT Technology Review, he also suggested that people could learn to love fake meat and, if resistance persists, regulations may be needed to force change.12
According to The Countersignal,13 “Many participants in the ongoing farmer protests in Holland have openly said they believe Gates may be partly responsible for pushing for additional climate laws.” Curiously, on July 10, 2022, a large picnic delivery facility in Almelo, the Netherlands burned down under mysterious circumstances.14,15,16
Why get rid of farmers in a context of growing food insecurity?
The attempt to rid the Netherlands of ranchers only really makes sense if seen from the perspective of the globalists, with an eye to the Great Reset, the Green New Deal, the 2030 Agenda and the development goals sustainability associated with it.
Indeed, according to Dutch MP Thierry Baudet (video above), that’s really what nitrogen restrictions are for. The Dutch government is following the scenario of The Great Reset, he says, which requires weakening the country, making it less independent and more dependent on food imports.
The Great Reset scenario also calls for diluting nationalism and weakening borders by taking in more immigrants, and to make room for immigrant housing, they must take land from farmers. So the new nitrogen rules are essentially a precursor to a land grab. They plan to bankrupt farmers so they can take their land and fill it with government-assisted low-income apartment buildings.
Apart from this, farmers also pose a threat to technocratic elitists, as they do not need to depend on the government for basics such as food and shelter, and they can also allow those who purchase their food to maintain their independence.
The plan of the globalists is to eliminate access to real food as much as possible and replace natural foods with patented foods so that the population becomes entirely dependent on them for their survival. At this point, they are easily controlled. Eliminating the independent food producers – the farmers – is therefore key to the eventual success of the globalist cabal.
Gates gobbles up farmland while pushing fake food
At the same time, the Dutch government is preparing to drastically restrict animal husbandry and meat production – probably with Gates’ blessing, if not because of his influence – Gates gobbles up farmland back home.
Although land prices were at an all-time high, Gates purchased a 2,100-acre potato farm in North Dakota in June 2022, bringing the total share of land held by Gates’ Red River Trust to over 270,000 acres – up from approximately 242,000 acres in mid-September 2021.
The following map, from AgWeb,17 shows the distribution of his land holdings prior to his acquisition in North Dakota. As you can see, the vast majority is agricultural land.
Gates Plan: Turning Farmers into Modern Serfs
However, as AgWeb reported in late June 2022, Gates did not receive a warm welcome:18
“North Dakota hosts ‘corporate farming laws’ that prohibit [sic] corporations and LLCs to own and lease farms and ranches. With the Gates’ new $13.5 million farmland purchase, North Dakotans — including the attorney general — fear the sale could violate state law. The North Dakota attorney general’s office sent a letter to the Red River Trust on Tuesday, alerting the North Dakota land law trustee.
“Our office needs to confirm how your business uses this land and whether that use meets any of the statutory exceptions, such as the business purpose exception,” North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley wrote.
MoneyWise19 followed the story, reporting that as of July 5, 2022, Gates had obtained legal approval for his farm purchase — a move that has angered many North Dakotans who don’t believe Gates has good intentions.
According to MoneyWise, “The Anti-Corporate Farming Act allows individual trusts to own farmland if it’s leased to farmers — and that’s what Gates’ company plans to do.” From The Great Reset’s perspective, it appears Gates is engaged in the same type of subversive wealth transfer agenda as BlackRock and other investment groups that buy single-family homes.
They buy them, often blindly and at above-market prices, with the intention of turning them into rentals. It is also an integral part of The Great Reset and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The intention is to eliminate all private property and turn the population into modern serfs. “Serf” is a term that describes people who are required to work for the “lord” who owns the land they live on, or who are otherwise underpaid, overworked, or exploited in some way.
It will be all of us, one day, if the world does not wake up and refuse to follow the globalist cabal’s great reset plans. The fate of Dutch farmers is only the beginning.
